Following the previous meeting, the school management, parent and teachers association contriuted about $920 for the bricks; how ever the challenging part is the soil texture of the site that desires alot of gravels and iron bars to set up the foundation, this has increased the budget by 12%. The District and Sub county will provide technical support like monitoring and supervision from the district engineer office. The fund collected through this crowdfunding has been held in a community account unit.
The VIP latrine is now on completion level we shall yet post the photos here by soon to show the uilding progress. and also attach the MoU with the district as per the development of the school
Through very generous donations through GlobalGiving we shall be able to begin theconstruction of the classroom block - the Latrine construction was started yet to be complmented. The floods in the place have halted construction when the land dries we shall surely resume the construction and laying of the foundation of the classroom block
Help us to help make the poorest of the poor to the best educated of all!!! We are all making the difference between lives in the wicked wheel of poverty - and the glorious freedom of choice for children who would never be able to make choices without a solid basis of health, education, and welfare!!!
Your donations - large or small - are so very appreciated.
