We have successfully provided Winter Clothes to children in Yangri, Nepal.
The children often miss school because they don’t have proper warm clothes to bear the harsh winters of the Himalayan region. The families of these children are brave survivors of an earthquake, flash flood and Covid pandemic that has led them into poverty. Therefore, purchasing warm clothes for their children is not something they can afford when providing food for their family is their utmost priority.
The unrelenting stress of poverty can hinder child development and therefore education is critical for these children. Himalayan Life believes in adopting a sustainable and holistic approach toward overall child growth. The donation through this campaign has provided warm clothes to 18 children who are regularly attending school.
