Our project to help children with disabilities was very successful and we sincerely thank the generous donors who supported it. However, due to the pandemic, we have had to change our programs for children with disabilities. Children with disabilities are especially vulnerable due to the pandemic, therefore we have had to bring our in-person therapies to an end. We are currently redesigning our program and will consider a new project in the future.
During the course of this project your support enabled us to provide medical services and therapies to 20 children with disabilities. In cases where it is appropriate we have provided therapies that can be conducted at home instead of in person. We will continue to provide access to medical specialists and other services as needed by the children who remain under our care in a safe and secure manner.
Your support made a difference in the lives of our children, such as Janeth who learned to embroider in our therapy sessions. Janeth has now graduated from our care and is able to contribute to her family’s well being through her creations.
