Let's celebrate Artem and Anatolii's recovery!

By Kateryna Hradnova-Savytska | Individual Giving Manager

Artem and Anatolii Hatsany are brothers. They and their whole family were injured when a Russian drone hit their car.

Anatolii, the older brother, lost part of his right foot and suffered a brain injury. His younger brother Artem lost his right leg and had serious injuries to his chest and lungs. Artem’s left leg stayed in a special medical frame for a long time while doctors worked to save it.

The brothers came to Superhumans Lviv in November 2025. They spent many months in rehabilitation and received prostheses.
Artem also became a true star of the Center. He was the lead singer of a music group created as part of music therapy.

In June, we finally celebrated their discharge. Both boys walked out of the Center on their own. Their parents and their baby brother, who was born before the boys finished rehabilitation, were there with them.

The family must now adjust to a new home. Because of constant attacks on their hometown of Kherson, they had to move to another city.

Rehabilitation and prosthetic care for children take a lot of time and careful work. Children grow quickly, so Artem and Anatolii will need regular adjustments, repairs, and new prostheses throughout their childhood.

A new part of life is beginning for the brothers. Thanks to your support, they can step into it with confidence.

Support rehabilitation for children in Ukraine. For them, the war is not over yet.
