Our most vital fund, The Every Child Fund empowers Boston Children’s to respond to a changing world with one goal: until every child is well.
Nurture every child
Sick children face more than medical treatments at a hospital. Important parts of their childhood also slip away. The Every Child Fund brings joy into the hospital with celebrations, puppies, arts and laughter to ease fear and hasten healing. Kindness that insurance doesn’t cover.
32 specially trained therapy dogs
nearly 14,000 children cheered by music therapists
415 Thanksgiving dinners
Support every family
When a family has a sick child, their world can fall apart. Parents may need to leave their jobs, put their lives on hold, and face overwhelming choices. The Every Child Fund supports our family-centered care, so parents can focus on what’s most important—their child. These services, housing, interpreters and social workers are not covered by insurance.
14,678 nights of subsidized housing
over 20,000 meal vouchers
over 100 interpreters
Conquer every disease
We find solutions others can’t. Boston Children’s is home to the largest pediatric research center in the world. We tackle childhood diseases from every angle. Your fundraising dollars provide seed funding for the next break-through discoveries. Then, we share our treatments with the world through training and global programs.
over 330 clinical trials
300 global outreach programs
3,000 scientists and researchers working on cures
Caring for a child includes costs adult hospitals don’t have–special-sized equipment to fit kids from the tiniest preemie to an adult-sized teen, extra support for families and research that unleashes cures to our most challenging childhood diseases. At Boston Children’s every dollar you give heals, supports and helps find cures. Every child thanks you.
