Vets With A Mission is going to sponsor it's 70th heart procedure sometime during 2020-2021!
Since it's first heart sposorship back in 1992 nearly seventy babies, children, teenagers, adolescents and selected adults have recceived life-changing, life-saving surgeries.
Back in the day it was a very expensive proposition because patients had to be taken to the US, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan or South Korea. Thankfully, today that isn't required!
The patients VWAM medical teams identify are helped at Hue Central Hospital, Hue Medical College, at its Heart Institute. Vietnamese physicians, surgeons and cardiologist have been trained in Europe, Southeast Asia and the US. Having surgeries now done in Hue primarily and Da Nang secondarily make all the difference to the patent and their family.
And it is less expensive allowinb more dollars to directly benefit the patient.
ANy matchng funds received on JUly Bonus Day, July 15, will enhance andenableVWAM to do more surgeries and impact the lives of these patients.
