We (the staff) at Child Rescue Kenya would like to extend our warmest wishes for the rest of 2017 and for the New Year.
This Christmas the children staying at our short and long-term transition centres that are able to visit to family will spend the week at home. Those that are staying with us are moved into the Birunda centre where they will celebrate Christmas day with a special meal and gifts of clothes, stationary items and toys. They are given their clothes the day before so that they can dress up for the day. The children love chicken and chappatis and this is usually what we try to give them on Christmas day - all home made at in the kitchen at the centre. It is definitely the best day of the year to be at the centre.
It is because of donors like you that we are able to provide for the children in this way. Thank you for all your support over the last nine months of the project.
We hope that your celebrations for the season are enjoyable.
