Elite Star Foundation continues to prioritize the protection, safety, and wellbeing of vulnerable children in Sokoto State through its Child Rescue Initiative for 400 Children. The project is designed to address child abuse, neglect, and other protection risks through child-friendly safety education, caregiver training, and stronger community-based child protection systems. During this reporting period, financial accountability remains central to ensuring that resources, when available, are directed towards activities that provide practical benefits to the children and communities targeted by the initiative.
The project has a total funding target of $15,118, intended to support the planned child protection interventions. The current GlobalGiving project listing indicates that the full target remains outstanding, with $0 recorded as raised and one donor listed. Consequently, the project’s planned activities remain dependent on securing the necessary financial resources. No expenditure figures or verified beneficiary totals were available from the accessible project information, so these have not been reported as completed achievements. Elite Star Foundation remains committed to responsible financial management, careful resource allocation, and transparent reporting as implementation progresses. The initiative continues to focus on establishing safer environments where vulnerable children can understand their rights, recognize abuse, and access appropriate support, while parents, teachers, and community leaders strengthen their capacity to prevent and respond to child protection concerns.
