Alkhidmat Foundation provides education and care to over 3,600 street children through 89+ Child Protection Centers across Pakistan. These children, often forced into labor due to poverty, are given a safe space to learn, grow, and dream. Each center offers free education, meals, counseling, and life skills training-empowering them to break the cycle of hardship and build a brighter, more dignified future.
Across Pakistan, thousands of street children face extreme poverty, neglect, and abuse. Many are forced into begging or child labor and lack access to education, emotional support, or moral guidance. Without the care of responsible adults or a safe environment, these children remain highly vulnerable, putting their physical safety, mental development, and future prospects at serious risk.
This project will provide safe, structured Child Protection Centers where street children receive free education, free meals, counseling, and moral guidance. Through a caring environment, trained staff help children recover from trauma, escape street life, and build confidence.
This project will contribute to increasing school enrollment in Pakistan by reintegrating out-of-school street children into the education system. Through basic literacy, counseling, and life skills, many children will transition from street life to structured learning. While not all may complete formal education, the program reduces child labor and exploitation, offering a pathway to safer, more stable futures.
