Two New Chownra Schools Established in Tharparkar

By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title: Two New Chownra Schools Established in Tharparkar to Expand Access to Education

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has established two new Chownra Schools in Tharparkar, providing access to quality education for children living in remote desert communities.

The schools will support the education of 50 students, helping strengthen educational access in underserved areas where learning opportunities remain limited.

Story / Update

Many children living in the remote desert areas of Tharparkar face serious challenges in accessing education due to poverty, distance, and the lack of nearby schools. As a result, many children either never enroll in school or are forced to discontinue their education at an early age.

To address this issue, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan established two new Chownra Schools in Tharparkar, aiming to bring education closer to underserved communities. These schools are designed to provide a safe and supportive learning environment where children can receive quality education and build a brighter future.

Through this initiative, 50 students will benefit from improved access to education, helping reduce barriers to learning in remote areas. The schools will focus on foundational education, personal development, and creating opportunities for children who previously had limited educational options.

This effort reflects Alkhidmat’s continued commitment to supporting education and reducing the number of out-of-school children across Pakistan.
