School Bags Stationery for Flood-Affected Student

By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title: School Bags & Stationery for Flood-Affected Students in Pir Baba, Buner

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation distributed school bags and stationery among flood-affected street students studying in different schools of Pir Baba, Buner (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). This initiative is helping children resume their education with dignity and hope after the hardships caused by recent floods.

Story / Update

The floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa left families struggling for survival, and education for many children was interrupted. In Pir Baba, Buner, children from already vulnerable families—many of them street students—faced severe challenges in continuing their studies.

To support them, Alkhidmat Foundation distributed school bags filled with notebooks, pencils, and other stationery items in different schools. This small but meaningful step has reignited children’s excitement for learning and helped them return to classrooms with confidence.

Teachers and parents shared their gratitude, noting how these supplies removed a major burden from families already suffering from financial hardships due to the floods. For the children, these school bags symbolize more than supplies—they represent hope, care, and the promise of a brighter future.

Beneficiaries

  • Direct Impact: Dozens of flood-affected students in Pir Baba, Buner.

  • Indirect Impact: Families and schools that benefit from motivated, better-equipped students.

Impact

  • Supported education continuity for vulnerable, flood-affected children.

  • Boosted confidence and learning outcomes by providing basic school supplies.

  • Reduced financial burden on struggling families.

Next Steps

Alkhidmat plans to expand educational support for flood-affected children across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other regions by distributing more school kits, uniforms, and learning materials.

Gratitude Note

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our GlobalGiving donors whose generosity is helping vulnerable children in Buner continue their education. Your support is not just providing stationery—it is fueling dreams, confidence, and brighter futures.
