We are currently in the middle of preparing for 3 overseas shipments at the same time. That makes storage of hundreds of PETs difficult. The 3 shipments are being prepared for Ecuador and 2 for India. The difficulty is the official paperwork and approval of the receiving country to allow the importation of humanitarian aid duty free and other issues. One of these shipments is backlogged since May as the original shipment date. Luckily a friend across the street from our warehouse and production shop has some open space and is allowing us to store PETs there temporarily. But space is still tight as we continue production each week. We hope and pray they will be approved/released for shipment very soon.
In the meantime, we were able to send 80 child/small PETs mobility devices to Gleaning for the World in VA in August for their worldwide shipments of aid.
We appreciate your continued support as we continue to build 5 child PETs a week. Please keep PET in mind for your year end giving to help children around the world thru your partnership with PET.
