Dear PET Friends,
We wanted to update you on some of our shipments of child size PETs this past quarter. The following partners have received multiple shipments over the years.
April: Washington Overseas Mission in Washington, MO, came to our warehouse and picked up a variety of items including 3 child size PETs for their medical mission work in Honduras. (See included picture of a boy which was an earlier recipient in Honduras.)
May: Sent another semi load to Orphan Grain Train in NE that included child PETs for their world wide work.
June: From their order, 10 child PETs were included in a shipment of 212 PETs to the medical mission of The Luke Commission. They are a medical team/family from ID living in Swaziland. They do a variety of health related work, but their main focus is the HIV epidemic. The PETs were loaded in a 40' hi-rise overseas shipping container. They were almost out of PETs, but were low on funds to send another shipment of mobility. We assisted in the shipping cost of $10,700 or about $50 per PET.
We appreciate your interest and partnership to provide mobility to those most in need.
Sincerely, Kathy Maynard
