It never fails, every morning Sylvia (our 104 year old grandmother) passes by the Chikumbuso center to start off her day selling second hand clothes. She always has the most random bunch of clothes to sell but she persists and each day makes a few coins to buy her veggies.
Because of this lovely attitude, this year for women's day, the ladies and teachers went to help Sylvia with her yard and garden. Twenty people cleaning a tiny yard was not time consuming or strenuous but it made a huge difference to her to get this help.
Your donations help her to eat, go to the doctor, and have soap for her washing up.
We all thank you because it does take a village. Each one doing their part.
