People fall in love with Chikumbuso when they visit us. I know how and why I love Chikumbuso... it's got so much going on all the time and feels very alive. There is always something to do and volunteers are welcome.
On a trip back to the States, an old friend called. I was tired, didn't feel like chatting, but I picked up the phone. This old friend is coming to Zambia in the summer. She wants to help. I think she'll be able to do some teacher training and I'm hoping, bring some new curriculums to us. More than anything, my prayer is that they also will fall in love with Chikumbuso. I've got a good feeling that prayer will be answered!
Just picking up the phone.
