In a recent 3 day HIV/AIDS workshop that we conducted, we had 26 people attending. A lady by the name of Saru* joined us. Previously she only had negative experiences whenever she would tell of her HIV status. When people would learn of her status, everyone would keep their distance from her and that was very difficult for her, it was painful. However, in this workshop it was a totally different experience and everyone accepted her! This was a huge change for Saru* and has helped her to gain confidence and a sense of restored HOPE! There are still so many people in Nepal just like Saru* who face similar situations of discrimination and isolation. Thank you for your part in helping us to be real Channels of Hope for our people!
