"It is nice to have a place to go out of home and now that I can see I am doing well I enjoy it even more." - Savita is 25 and mother to her son and daughter, she was previously restricted to her household chores.

A typical beneficiary of I was a Sari, falls in the age group of 18-45 years, mostly married, with an educational qualification of below 10th standard and hails from a family whose monthly income is between USD 140-220/-. Most of the women states that their motivation for joining work was their dire financial circumstances but also their loneliness at home

The last three months have been utilised in order to plan all the activities and to identify the resources required.

We are glad to share that the project manager has been selected and that we have a short list of candidates for the position of trainer.

At the same time we have started working on the training toolkit and we are very exceited about this stream of the project.
