Coastal community group always depend on the natural resources like river and Sundarbans for their livelihood. In that case they always face different types of natural calamities that destroy their life and livelihood. So, to mitigate the risk and reduction of these damage, Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is trying to find out this problem and its nature-based solution> Among these attempts, mangrove-based product is one of them. Mangrove soap and pug mark of Royal Bengal tiger that will be produced by the Sundarbans Resources Harvesters cooperative society. This product will be sold in among the tourist of Sundarbans.
Cooperative society want to spread out their business not only the coastal region but also among the world. For this reason, members expect that every well wisher will help them for their social welfare work.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.
