Changing kids' lives with hip hop, education & art

To our dear supporters and friends,

We are well on our way with the construction of what will be Tiny Toones forever home, which could not be done wthout your ongoing love and support. It is a long and slow process with all hands on deck. KK is there every day and Bboy Suicide is playing an integral role overseeing the construction. What began as a stretch of dirt, now has two floors of fully laid bricks, stairs and windows. We are making space for children's classrooms to learn English, Khmer, math and computer, plus of course space for sport, djing, lyric writing and hip hop dancing. 

Outside of construction, Tiny Toones is still making waves in the local hip hop scene and was thrilled to be invited to participate in KlapYaHandz 20-year anniversary last month on Khmer New Year. The Khmer Hip Hop Block Party was a gathering of hip hop founders and Khmer artists together celebrating the rising stature of the local hip hop scene.

KlapYaHandz was the first hip hop record label in Cambodia and just turned 20! Tiny Toones was founded just after them and was the first hip hop and breakdance centre in Cambodia. After a long struggle, hip hop is finally being recognised and celebrated in Cambodia, and we are thrilled.
