Chain of Hope has been providing service to low-income citizens and their animals for thirteen years. We work very hard for the abused, the neglected and those just needing help. We believe in keeping animals with their people, but they need to be spayed and neutered to stop the overpopulation. Chain of Hope provides that service as well. We spay and neuter animals for low-income citizens and the homeless community for free, as well as picking the animals up for their appointments and taking them back home. It is a unique service and a necessary one. It’s the only way to stop the litters from continuing to come and flood our community shelters.
We have built some wonderful relationships in the community and grown to love the people and their pets. It is an honor to know them and to serve them and to help them better their lives. For many people that we meet, their pet is their lifeline, their best friend, their daily companion and they can’t imagine their life without them. That’s where we come in!
Chain of Hope provides food, shelter, straw in the winter, flea and fly control in the summer, medical care, spay/neuter services, education, support, encouragement and also accountability for pet owners. Pet owners do their part, we do our part and the life of the animal improves expediently. It’s a win-win for all involved.
Our calls for medical help have increased greatly. People just can’t afford to get their animals the care that they need. It grieves them to not be able to relieve their pet’s suffering. They are so grateful to receive the help from Chain of Hope. That is only possible because of our generous supporters like you!
Your funding secures that we will be able to continue operating for the citizens and their animals in Kansas City, Mo. Times are very hard right now and these animals need our help and supplies more than ever. Thank you for supporting us!
