Our project Chain of Courage for children with cancer supports all chidren and teens diganosed with cancer in The Netherlands.
The testmmonials of children and parents on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/kanjerketting/?ref=settings) show the imporance of the program.
'Our daughter is in under treatment for a brain tumor. The treatment is long and extremely heavy for her, but her Chain of Courage helps her through the many tests, chemo's and irradiation sessions. Her chain has over 1600 beads.'
'Our son hopes to finish treatment within a mont. Then he will add the final bead to his Chain of Courage: the flower bead. He has been treated for over 2 years, and his chain is 9,6 meters long with over 700 beads. Each time we look at the Chain we admire his courage. He never complained, was always happy and smiling and thumbs-up. We hope the flower is the start of a new period.'
