Dear Valued Donors,
I am delighted to share with you the achievements and impact of your generous contributions to Cetap Lucy. Your support has been instrumental in driving our mission forward and empowering our students to excel academically and personally.
Academic Achievements:
- High Academic Performance: We are proud to report that all our students successfully passed the academic year with excellent grades, demonstrating their dedication and hard work.
- English Language Excellence: Our English language students achieved remarkable academic success, showcasing their proficiency and commitment to language learning.
- Graduation Success: Two of our students have graduated from high school and are currently preparing for university entrance, a testament to their perseverance and the support they received from our programs.
Summer Activities:
- Summer Camp Activities: Throughout July and August, our summer camp offered a variety of engaging activities including arts, crafts, English language sessions, and robotics. These activities provided our students with enriching experiences and opportunities for skill development.
Impactful Mentorship:
- University Student Tutors: We are thrilled to share that former CETAP Lucy students who are now university students have volunteered as tutors for our current students. One of our robotics tutors is currently pursuing studies in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, bringing cutting-edge knowledge and enthusiasm to our robotics program.

Empowerment and resilience

Cetap Lucy is thrilled to share that your support has yielded remarkable results. Our older students have achieved outstanding academic performance, demonstrating significant progress and excellence in their studies. Moreover, our 4 and 5-year-olds have shown remarkable fluency in their language skills, a testament to the effectiveness of the therapies
provided.
Your commitment to our children's education has not only empowered them to excel academically but has also instille: One of our students won the second place in the robotics competition. So, he will travel to Mexico for the second stage. Additionally, he is teaching mathematics to other kids at a foundation. Thanks to your support, we have been able to conduct psychoeducational assessments for children from very low economic backgrounds. Thanks to the diagnoses, they can now receive special and inclusive education.
Most of the boys attending to be evaluated are children of migrant parents, living with their grandparents or close relatives. The migratory wave in Ecuador is caused by the rise in insecurity due to narco-terrorism and impoverishment policies.

GIVING DEC 2023

During the first quarter of this new school year, we have worked on the
adaptation of early stimulation children who are 2 and 3 years old, achieving the
expected results.
Students receiving academic support have successfully assimilated all the
required learning for their corresponding level.
We have the case of Emilio, a 6-year-old child and the son of a single mother,
who came to our center with many academic and emotional problems due to
the abuse he has suffered from his stepfather. Thanks to the work of the
psychologist along with the teacher, the child has improved his self-esteem and
is now able to write and read his first sentences.
Students attending the English program, both in-person and virtually, are
progressing gradually. Valeria, a 16-year-old girl who entered with a basic level,
has made significant progress and is the top student in the English area with an
average of 9.45/10.
Valeria is the sixth of seven siblings, and her mother is very ill, with one lung
completely destroyed. She breathes with the remaining lung but requires an
inhaler.
Thanks to GlobalGiving and the donors, 23 students from low socioeconomic
backgrounds can study and receive psychological support.
