The summer at Matamoros Children’s Home was a great success with two teams of volunteers coming to do construction projects. One team helped to put up trusses and a metal roof on the newest dorm for the boys.
The other team helped with some remodeling and painting. Both teams did an amazing job helping with the needs of the Home.
Preparing for the school year to begin was also a significant accomplishment. Because of donors like you, the children received school supplies like notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks, etc. The children also received new black dress shoes, tennis shoes, shirts, slacks, socks, and underwear for school. For 206 kids, this is no small endeavor! With caring for so many children comes more and more needs to be met, which is why continued support for these children is needed. Every dollar helps the children of Matamoros Children’s Home, so please consider giving today.
