Thank you for your Heart of Rescue

By James Aleko | Project Director

37cats and dogs recently rescued from the local animal shelter shows some wear and tear as a result of being on the streets awhile. Our staff through our animal project picked them up. The officer took them to the Animal Shelter. After evaluation, it was determined that they didn’t have an injury but he was suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Once it was determined that the they were healthy, and after they put on a little weight, they were neutered and vaccinated.  Not really knowing what his future situation would bring, the shelter opted to notch his left ear, the universal sign of a neutered cat and dogs. They also a little nervous with all the changes in his life but after about 2 weeks "in custody" he started to come around.

After the Animal Shelter reached out to area cat rescues, New Beginnings Cats and Dogs Rescue was able to quickly rescue 37 cats and dogs who is now with a foster family and will soon be available for adoption.

To all the people that support New Beginnings Cats and Dogs Rescue, by donating, fostering and adopting, remember you are the heart and soul of the rescue. Thank you for your continued support.
