A New Partnership

Dear Angels,

We are reaching more children thanks to your help! Thank you for partnering with us in raising funds which pay teachers, provide supplies to classrooms and help feed children from families living in extreme poverty.

We are happy to announce another partnership. Centro Infantil de los Angeles has been approved to partner with Amistad Canada. If you are a Canadian, your donations to Centro Infantil de los Angeles are now tax-deductible. It took several years and much time to get this status with Amistad Canada. We owe much gratitude to the volunteers and board members who worked diligently on this project!

As you may know, donations have been tax deductible to our donors from the United States and Mexico for a very long time.

This September, 2026, we will open a new classroom to accommodate 20 more babies to receive infant-care services. We are very grateful to be able to utilize the large classroom that is currently empty and to feel hopeful that the classroom will be completely funded. Volunteer social workers are assisting our Executive Director in identifying infants within our demographics. These infants may not be born yet. Imagine that! We are reaching out to young pregnant women from the lowest income level within the San Miguel de Allende community and nearby neighborhoods.

There is much to be grateful for, much to be hopeful for and so much love to give!
