Progress Report for GlobalGiving
“Caring For Children Affected By Ebola”
May 17, 2018
Things have been going at a slow pace since the beginning of 2018, but we have managed to keep our services ongoing. The need for a safe place for child survivors of sexual violence, victims of human trafficking and other children that come in contact or conflict with the law is paramont. Gifts and donations from GlobalGiving and other humanitarian organizations make it possible for THINK to provide a home for abandoned children and a safe place for our survivors as they go through their case management, medical treatment and psychosocial support and protection.
The little boy that had surgery for the management of Hydrocephalus had a respiratory infection and was admitted in the hospital for four days. He is doing fine.
We are engaged in community outreach prevention education against sexual violence in three communities in Montserrado County.
Thanks to all of you our partners and donors for donations that have kept the doors to the safe homes open for us to serve and care for these vulnerable children. Your commitment means a lot to the beneficiaries, the staff and THINK Liberia.
THANK YOU!
