Celebrate with us!!
At age 16 a traditional tribal girl named Faith joined our children’s home. She was hurt, shy, quiet and very frightened. She was born into a small traditional tribe called Njemp of a single mother. She lost her mother before she even knew her name. After many difficulties, she entered JWHS at age 16.
As an orphan, she had seldom attended school and was several years behind. What little education she had was in an impoverished rural school with few resources. She attended the local school with all our other children. Now nearing 18 years old, she desired to enter vocational school to learn a skill and change her life from hopeless to hopeful.
Just this week, November 5, 2022, we were able to assist her to fill that dream!
It is donors like you who make this possible. Faith is grateful, excited and hopeful! From the shy, frightened young girl has arisen a bold and confident young lady! You have played a role in making that happen. THANK YOU.
