After successfully running the Carers Time Bank project in Hammersmith & Fulham for the last year, the project has come to an end.
To mark the end of the project, Time Bank members attended an exclusive event to celebrate everything the project has achieved on Wednesday 25 July at Westminster City Hall’s Lord Mayor’s Parlour on The Strand.
As part of the event, Carers Network’s Chair Steven Bramley provided four Time Bank members with special commendation awards for their significant contribution to the project – with all other members receiving a certificate of participation.
A highlight of the evening was members volunteering to speak about the impact the project has had on them and how it helped them develop confidence.
Members also shared their favourite memories of the project by writing it on a postcard as well has having the opportunity to be photographed giving their Time Bank resolutions. We’ve included some of these photos in this report.
Even though the project has finished, we are confident that the carers who participated will continue to provide a fitting legacy to the project by using the skills and confidence they gained to continue to meet up and help each other.
We’d also like to send a bit thank you to you, our donors, without you we wouldn’t have been able to run this project that helped so many carers.
Please keep your eyes peeled for exciting new projects that we are working towards.
