Dear All,
We wanted to update you about the recent developments of West Bengal Association of the Deaf project of "Give Career Training to 100 Deaf Students". Because of the generous contributions from you and the hard work of the volunteering members of our organization we were able to start the school. We were able to get a very qualified teacher Mr Suvrojyoti Sur, an MS degree holder in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University, who is himself deaf and experienced in teaching deaf students. We started with 6 students and plan to progress every day.
Over the next couple of months we plan to increase the number of students, hire more teachers, form a well-planned curriculum for the school students, buy used computer equipments for the students and continue building of the school. So far only one room of the school building has been finished completely so classes could be started. We will obviously keep you posted.
Below are some videos and photos that we can go to and see how a little bit of effort goes a long way in changing the lives of people. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can answer any question. We thank you once again for your generous support and hope you will enjoy seeing the progress of the school as much as we do. This progress would not have been possible without you.
Thank you,
Bulbul Ganguly
