The world saw Corona Virus's second waves have a devastating effect all over India. Thousands of innocent people are dying before our eyes, and several infected cases are increasing daily. By this Pandemic, we see children who have lost their parents, families who have lost the elderly, families trapped in the grip of poverty, starvation deaths, children with depression and anxiety, marginalized nomadic Families, etc., freeze us. Now OMICRON MUTATED VIRUS. What children can do?
Quarry workers and their women, children have been affected physically and mentally in this crisis—no words to describe their plight as victims of poverty. Quarry workers' children's education process is challenged in this pandemic. SPHEED has organized the Care center for quarry workers children education to help their life.
Services provided for the children in the centers:: We provide quality education to the children and give knowledge about life values, moral values, understanding, and create a happy context in the center. All target children attended the center happily and participated in all activities in the competition. We have organized baseline health check-ups and growth monitoring once in 3 months in our center. We periodically stress the need for personal hygiene of the students with special reference to girl students. We provide notes, books, and other essential needs for education, Nutrition, food grains, and hygiene.
Needs of the Center: We will need to conduct online education in this present situation. World education moves to Digital education. Computers, tablets, smartphones are helping to fulfill the education process successfully. We need the above items to help the quarry workers' children to facilitate learning. It is very safe for the children in this pandemic situation.
Through our services to the Quarry Workers’ Children, all children are delighted. Those quarry workers and their families say sincere thanks to the donors, supporters, and volunteers through the partner organization of GlobalGiving.
