MENTAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND PEACE
Remar Occidente A.C. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the comprehensive care of girls in vulnerable situations, those who have been abandoned, or those at social risk. Through our children's home in Guadalajara, Jalisco, we offer a safe, loving, and structured environment where girls can heal, grow, and develop their full potential. The mental health of the girls is a cross-cutting priority at Remar Occidente. We recognize that many of them arrive with experiences of trauma, neglect, or violence, so continuous psychological support and therapeutic activities are essential pillars of their recovery and holistic development. Promoting and strengthening the mental health of the 70 girls residing at the Remar Occidente children's home, through professional psychological interventions, therapeutic group workshops, and holistic wellness activities, while guaranteeing their protection, emotional stability, and full development, is a fundamental part of our daily work.

Crafts and Art Therapy Workshops Crafts workshops provide a space for creative expression and emotional healing.
Through art and hands-on creation, girls find a safe way to express emotions that are sometimes difficult to verbalize, especially those related to traumatic experiences.
The mental health work carried out at the Remar Occidente Children's Home represents a collective, sustained effort with measurable results in the lives of 70 girls who have found a safe haven and a space for healing in our institution.
The combination of individual and group psychological support with complementary activities such as gardening and arts and crafts workshops has proven to be an effective strategy for addressing the complexities of childhood trauma.
Every space, every workshop, and every session contributes to building a more stable present and a more hopeful future for each girl.
The support of each of you has been a decisive factor in the sustainability of this project.
Thanks to the resources provided by donors from around the world, it is possible to maintain a dedicated professional team, adequate facilities, and sufficient materials to ensure high-quality therapeutic work.
Remar Occidente reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive protection and well-being of every girl in our care. We will continue working with dedication, transparency, and love, because every girl deserves to heal, grow, and dream big.
