Empowerment through Education - UK and its local partner Dr Suguna Ram Mohan Educational Society -Hyderabad havie done a significant number of capital projects since 2012 at the Thallakondapally Zilla Parishad High and Primary School which are running without any major issue.
We are pleased to report that all the executed projects require basic minimum maintainence.
Following activities in 2021-2022 :
- employed a computer teacher for the computer lab which has 7 laptops for 125 US Dollars = Rs 9000 .00 INR.
- our college bursary program which we started in 2017 for economically disadvantaged is bearing fruits now . We currently have 25 students at various levels starting from 11 th Class to final year of college education . Our Charity pay both the Tuition fee and Hostel subsistence in the various colleges of the Hyderabad .
We are pleased that our first student whom we supported is now a graduate in B.Sc Computer Sciences , and icing on the cake is She secured a job in one of the Big Four Company - Tata Consultancy Services. She is a inspiring role model for the rest of the students.
We conducted a half a day Mentoring and Careers session with all the college going students on December 28 th , 2021 in Hyderabad - enclosed are Photo 1 /2.
Career information on a various options were discussed such as ; Computer programmar , Accounting , Civil Services , Engineering , Plumbing , Electrician .
The session iteself was most rewarding and satisfying to see the progress made by the students from a shy , introvert kids from a rursl setting to a confident , bold students ready to face the extremely competetive world we live currently .
