Dear Animal loving friends,

We are very excited to share the news that because of your generosity and support we have been able to complete one of our DROUGHT RELIEF projects.

Your kindness has meant our brand new 5000 litre rainwater tanks have been secured into our Adoption kennels which care for 400 dogs and cats daily. These tanks ensure that every last drop of rainwater will be stored for the care of our animals when precious drops do fall. Having this technology allows us to conserve water for the days ahead when our water supplies may run low or possibly dry up entirely.

As Cape Town continues to pray for rains to fall, your donations continue to keep our animals hydrated and keep our facilities clean to safeguard their health while in our care.

In the words of our new CEO Moyo Ndukwana, "The CoGH SPCA mandate first and foremost serves to prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals. On encountering any creature our first act of kindness is towards the animals in our care.

The way we treat animals in our care will be a reflection of the kind world that we envision and strive to work for every single day. Because of your kindness and love for animals you have enabled us to keep many animals alive and safe from harm."

What we do matters, and matters even more now than ever- Water is LIFE!

Yours for the love of animals

Belinda
