We are saving children's lives!

We are excited to report that our work in the Philippines continues.  We have a team of pediatric oncologists who are planning a trip to our program sights to continue our training of doctors, nurses and social workers to help children with cancer.  These passionate volunteers believe that we can even the odds for children with cancer by training and support of the local medical personnel.

Parent support groups, psychosocial support for patients and families, data collection, and early detection and public education campaigns are also key project activities.  The project aims to increase access to treatment and to improve long-term, 5-year cancer-free survival rates across the communities we serve.  The focus will continue to be on curing easily treatable childhood cancers, while also providing pain relief for children who can't be treated.

We are actively recruiting Ambassadors to help us in fundraising and awareness for our partner hospitals throughout the Philippines.   Contact us at info@worldchildcancer.us to get involved.  Learn more at www.worldchildcancer.us
