Thank you for making a difference in the lives of Georgia youth in foster care. With your generous support, we are able to expose children to the joy of summer camp. In July, we hosted 40 campers who learned to swim, horseback ride, and to build positive peer relationships. Our campers expressed their emotions through art therapy programs, they played, smiled and made new friends.
We offer self-esteem building activities to provide young campers with the personal affirmations and coping skills they need to value themselves and to make positive life decisions. Camp Horizon is a safe haven for children who have been bruised and abused, we nurture the whole child. Each of our activities is designed to rebuild the self worth of our campers. At camp, our kids are happy. We stay connected to our campers throughout the year, to offer our continued support.
