Thank you for your support!
CAMI continues to work to engage stakeholders to support the safe development of Multipurpose Prevention Technologies (MPTs). Your donations have greatly contributed to our work by providing funds to help us expand awareness and support for the development and eventual use of MPTs.
Earlier this month, CAMI organized an international symposium, Multipurpose Prevention Technologies for Reproductive Health 2011 Symposium, in Washington, DC. This meeting brought together reproductive health experts from across the globe to discuss and advance the emerging MPT science. CAMI will use lessons learned from this important meeting and newly engaged international colleagues to help advance our work funded by your generosity.
Here is what your donations are supporting thus far:
· the development of outreach materials for both domestic and international stakeholders. This will include the printing and distribution costs, once the materials are finalized;
· the creation of an educational platform to be used for both web-based and in-person presentations with international audiences;
· strategic outreach efforts, including development of an outreach toolkit, aimed at engaging a wider network of international stakeholders.
As CAMI moves forward, your support will continue to contribute to our work. The outreach materials and educational platform will play a key role in engaging both domestic and international stakeholders. These tools will be used as we expand our international outreach efforts to new locations and will be adapted to be used in different languages. There is still a long road ahead, but we are confident that with continued support like yours, we will reach our goal!
