Over the past year, CADENA Mexico has continued to demonstrate resilience and unwavering commitment in responding to humanitarian needs across the country. Despite ongoing challenges, we remained steadfast in our mission to support communities affected by disasters.
Throughout the year, we carried out 181 humanitarian interventions, reaching more than 220,000 people. Our response was made possible by 1,587 volunteers, who contributed over 25,000 hours of service. Together, we distributed 460 tons of food assistance, provided 4,962 medical consultations, and delivered more than 284,348 first-aid services.
Among our major responses were emergency operations along Mexico's Pacific coast, supporting communities in Oaxaca and Guerrero as they recovered from disasters. We also responded to severe flooding in Durango, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, and other affected regions.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to standing alongside communities impacted by disasters throughout Mexico. Year after year, our mission is to reduce human suffering by strengthening the resilience of vulnerable populations and reducing the risks faced by communities living in disaster-prone areas.
