Meet Yorimar

Meet Yorimar

Yorimar is a 22 year old volunteer and member of the scholarship group of El Niño y la Bola CR which supports her in her university studies. She joined the foundation 3 years ago through a friend who mentioned to her what the Foundation's work and what ENYLB is all about. "The foundation has become a very valuable place for me where I have learned many things and have grown as a person, for which I am very happy to be a part of every day. I think that the work of the Foundation is an example, a display of how to help the people who need it most", said Yorimar about ENYLB. Her dreams are to finish her university degree, work, study a second degree and learn languages. We are very proud to have Yorimar in the Foundation's programs and know that with continued hard work and effort, these dreams are soon to become reality!

Volunteer Appreciation Day

On Saturday July 18, during the mid year school vacation, a group of 13 staff, community and TCU volunteers set out for a fun day of games, relaxation and appreciation as the BWAB staff recognized the efforts of the dedicated volunteers that are a consistent support to the organization. Thank you volunteers for your commitment and care for the work of ENYLB!

Core Team Retreat

With Costa Rica schools and our tutoring program on hiatus, on July 24 the ENYLB core team took an important retreat to Villa Tina in San Carlos to restore foundations, rejuvenate spirits and communion with each other.
