It's been 2 months since the Great Campaign to Deliver a Million more meals of March 2014 and I wanted to take a minute to let you know we have not forgotten you! In fact, we will never forget you; every single one of you had a hand in what turned out to be a…SUCCESSFUL fundraiser for a new truck!
It was a wonderful month and, yes the truck is on order and getting the inside shelves built as we speak. It looks like we’ll have it down here by early June, painted by early July and then it’s time for the fun part! We will be having a christening party where you will get the chance to write your name and whatever message you like inside the truck. We’re going to combine it with a Streets Eats event so music and food will abound.
I can’t wait for that day and can’t wait to thank you in person for what you did by contributing.
