We couldn't be prouder!

By Julia Krepska | Founder and Director

Suyash has passed his SEE exams (secondary education exam) with amazing marks! This is such great news and we are so proud of him. Now - the college awaits! He is taking his college exams now so fingers crossed he will get into the one that he chose. He wants to be a lawyer in the future so we will arrange some work experience placements with the law offices in the area so that he understands what the actual work entails. And if he still wants to do that, we will support and guide him in the future to achieve him dreams.

The children's home has been running since 2013 so now every year we have boys that get to that stage in their life when it's time to decide - what next? And our role is to show them different opportunities that might await them. It's a huge privilege and we do get very emotional seeing that change from very young boys into confident young men. Even when the boys leave the home and become independent, they are still a part of our family. They come back for visits, they come back when they need advice, they come back to share their experience with the younger boys. We now for example have Sujan staying with us for a few weeks and helping at the children's home with mentoring of the younger boys. We are so proud of them all.

The children have just started their new school year so new books, new uniforms, new classes. All very exciting. We have a lovely new lady, Anu, working with us now at the children’s home. She is a teacher and takes such a good care of the boys. She is assisting them now with homework and does additional classes aimed at inspiring the boys to study – the classes at regular schools soften lack interaction or creativity.

During their holidays, the boys as usual were helping with the garden, chickens and together with the older, already working, boys that visited the children’s home did more amazing wall paintings and decorations. The home looks even better and happier now!

As always – thank you for all the support!
