Well it’s great news: thanks to your help we can now give long-term food security to an additional 150 families in Namalu, in Uganda’s tough-living northeastern region.
The wheels are now in motion. Over the coming months your donation will be used to buy maize from local farmers, where every farmer will receive a premium price!
Local project leader Zacharia is “delighted” with your efforts.
Zacharia will guard the maize in large storage silos before providing it to the region’s most vulnerable families at highly subsidized prices.
All money raised gets re-invested year-after-year to give long-term food security.
Once again, thank you all for supporting this project. If you want to find out more or to get further involved then please contact me iainpatton@foag.co.uk
