Dear friends,
We are happy to update you on the progress of our project.
With your generous help we were able to raise the amount sufficient enough to cover the costs of the necessary medical supplies for a year for 5 butterfly children ($ 3 587 was raised on the globalgiving.org, in addition $ 6 187 was received on our charity account). It is our common great success. We would like to share with you the stories of these special children.
Anton is 13 years old. Despite the many years of everyday battle with the disease, he is very inquisitive, intelligent and sociable boy. He is keen on reading and has many interests. Anton and his family is very grateful for support in purchasing necessary medical supplies.

The mother of a 3-year old Elisey describes him as a very brave, smart and kind boy. He is very active as all children in his age, but every uncareful movement may lead to very painful skin injuries, therefore the older brothers call him “a golden boy”. He is our joy and happiness regardless this severe disease. We thank every person who did not stay indifferent to our story..."

A 9 year old Olya has webbed fingers and toes, the wounds in the ears almost never heal and the esophagostenosis leads to inability to swallow, but the family does not lose courage. The mother of Olya says: “We want to live, we want to be beautiful. Everyday is a challenge for us, but we know that we will go forward and we believe to come across kind people on our way”.

Pavel is a long-awaited son in the family. It was known from his birth that he suffers from Epidermolysis Bullosa due to visible serious damage of skin. The blisters appear daily on the skin and mucous coat of the boy. He needs special medical care to minimize the risks of infections and improve the quality of life.

The mother of Ksenia says “…Dear donors your help cannot be overestimated, your support will relieve the pain my daughter faces everyday…”

We thank everybody who participated in the lifes of these children and continue to fundraise funds for another 7 children with Epidermolysis Bullosa.
With best thoughts,
