Reading enables children to learn, grow and explore the world. In the United States, we often take access to books for granted. In Uganda, that's not the case, especially in rural areas. The Walukuba-Masese library is a vital component of the community, offering children a safe, nurturing environment with access to several hundred books. Regular programming engages youth in creative and skill building endeavors and fosters a love for reading.
A donation of just $25 will provide thirteen books or materials for one art class. $125 covers the monthly salary for the librarian. Will you join us in helping to support our work?
