We are happy to share wonderful news with you: the construction of the training center has been successfully completed, marking a major milestone for our project Building Hope for 350 Women and Children in La Vega.
Thanks to your generous support, what once was only a vision has now become a safe, dignified, and welcoming spacefor women and children in our community.
After months of dedicated work, the training center is now fully built and ready to serve its purpose. To celebrate this achievement, we held a community inauguration ceremony, which was deeply emotional and meaningful for everyone involved.
Women, children, community members, volunteers, and local leaders gathered to witness the opening of a space that represents hope, opportunity, and new beginnings.
The inauguration was especially significant as it included the presence of the Priest leader who actively supports the community of La Vega, offering a blessing for the center and its future activities. This moment reinforced a strong sense of unity, faith, and collective commitment to the well-being of the community.
What We Are Already Seeing in the Community
The community now has a fully functioning space dedicated to learning, training, and personal growth.
Women shared feelings of gratitude, dignity, and renewed hope during and after the inauguration.
Families see the center as a place of protection, opportunity, and care for their children.
The opening brought people together, strengthening community bonds and a shared sense of belonging.
The center is already perceived as a safe and welcoming environment where positive change can take root.
This center is more than a building—it is a symbol of resilience, shared effort, and trust, made possible by donors like you.
We would not have reached this important milestone without your generosity and belief in this project. Your support has helped turn a dream into reality and has laid the foundation for lasting impact in La Vega.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in the women and children we serve.
Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with us. Together, we are building hope.
