Thank you for your continued help and support as we continue to help the citizens of Antigua and Barbuda that are in need. When most people hear the word homeless, or hunger, a very specific image comes to mind, and it’s not pretty. The visible homeless, and those on the street and who are mentally ill, are just the tip of the iceberg. When faced with homelessness we often look for ways to justify our inaction. Why should I help them? I work too hard to earn money. I won’t just give it away. Why can’t he/she just get a job?.
Some of these people we serve lost there home during hurricane season and can't seem to find their way back. There are no jobs for some, can you imagine, not having running water or a roof over your head?. these are only some of the issues they are encountering. Please find it in your heart to assist us with our goal, to continue to help and feed the homless in Antigua and Barbuda. We continue to collect perishable food as well. These items can be dropped off or shipped to a NY location to be prepared to be shipped to Antigua and Barbuda. Please feel free to contact us at; abau.usa@gmail.com
