It has passed two years since the earth shakes on September 19th, and it feels like it was yesterday when we start working in response to those families affected.
We can resume our work in 964 emergency houses built in 6 different states in Mexico (CDMX, Estado de Mexico, Puebla, Morelos, Chiapas, Oaxaca). We mobilized more than 10,000 volunteers from all the territory to affected communities.
Since that emergency, we started permanent work in Oaxaca, because we realize all the inequality that this region lives.
In TECHO we believe that we can make a real change through civil society support, and we are committed to keeping fighting against inequality and poverty.
