Building a Dream Room in the Pediatric Ward

Since the inception of our Dream Room initiative, we have successfully created 58 Dream Rooms in pediatric wards across South Africa. These spaces are designed to provide children with a safe and comforting environment where they can momentarily escape the realities of hospital life.

Each Dream Room is more than just a physical space. It is a place of imagination, learning, and emotional relief. Equipped with engaging technology, educational materials, and creative resources, these rooms help support children’s cognitive development while uplifting their spirits during treatment.

While we are incredibly proud of the 58 Dream Rooms we have built, our greatest need now lies in maintaining and enhancing these spaces. Over time, equipment needs to be updated, technology requires replacement, and educational materials must be replenished to remain relevant and effective.
