LFBS, in partnership with 360insights, is constructing a permanent, earthquake-resistant child protection and family support facility in Southern Haiti. The center will include offices, family support spaces, and safehouses for vulnerable children and families. After 15 years of strengthening families through counselling, education, healthcare, and emergency response, this facility will reduce rental costs, improve sustainability, and expand resources for direct services and community outreach.
In Haiti, poverty, instability, limited services, and recurring crises separate many children from their families, increasing risks of neglect, exploitation, trafficking, and institutionalization. After 15 years in temporary facilities, LFBS needs a permanent, resilient child protection center to expand services and provide a safe, reliable response during earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding, and political instability.
LFBS, in partnership with 360insights, through Walk for Good, is building a permanent, earthquake-resistant child protection and family support center on land it owns in Southern Haiti. The facility will include offices, counselling and family support spaces, training rooms, emergency supply storage, and safehouses. This resilient infrastructure will strengthen family reunification, expand prevention and outreach programs, improve emergency response, and serve more vulnerable children each year.
This project creates a lasting foundation for safer childhoods, stronger families, and more resilient communities in Southern Haiti. The new facility will enable LFBS to deliver consistent, high-quality child protection services, expand support to more vulnerable children and families, strengthen emergency response, and reinvest resources into sustainable programs.
