A Game That Inspires Minds

By Jatniel Cerrito | STEM Program Assistant

Recently, we celebrated the STEM Soccer League – Second Edition with VEX robotics. Although they may seem simple, these educational tools strengthen a wide range of skills in participants.

This time, the theme of the VEX robotics tournament was “STEM Soccer League”—a space that provides essential tools for young people to explore the world of STEM education, inspiring them to grow in these fields of knowledge. The teams gave their all to reach first place in this impressive challenge.

During the event, we witnessed the excitement of the participants and the general public in a day filled with art, colors, smiles, and above all, collaborative work. The teams, each made up of five students, had been preparing for months, developing strategies to earn first place. Their enthusiasm for gaining new experiences and strengthening their skills was evident.

The competition unfolded through alliance rounds and elimination rounds until the winning team was determined. As in every competition, some teams stood out for their strategies on the playing field—and this time was no exception.

This adventure continues, with the hope that more teams will join this fascinating journey of new knowledge and become part of an experience that enhances the students’ abilities. By engaging in these projects, young people not only explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, but also develop social and ethical skills. These experiences aim to inspire them to become agents of change, motivating them to dream big and build innovative solutions for the challenges life presents.

We deeply thank our donors for their generosity in supporting the education of children and youth through projects that enrich their knowledge and skills.
