In November, Peduli Learning Center continued to provide consistent academic and emotional support for our students. Our classes focused on strengthening literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, while also ensuring that students felt safe, engaged, and motivated in their learning environment. Teachers emphasized routines, encouragement, and interactive methods to maintain high participation throughout the month.
This month, we were grateful to welcome many volunteers who brought fresh perspectives and new learning experiences for the children. Their presence added variety to our weekly activities and helped expose students to skills and knowledge beyond the regular classroom lessons.
One volunteer introduced the students to basic concepts of architecture, guiding them to explore shapes, structures, and simple building designs through hands-on mini activities. Another volunteer led a session on emotions, helping students identify different feelings, express them appropriately, and understand how emotions shape communication and relationships.
We also had an engaging cultural session where a volunteer taught the children the Haka dance. Students enjoyed learning the movements, rhythm, and expression behind this traditional performance. These volunteer-led sessions created an exciting learning atmosphere in November, and we are deeply grateful for the support that continues to enrich our program and inspire our students.
